What is PU Connect?
PU Connect is a Shopify app that connects a Shopify store to a Parts Unlimited dealer account. It imports Parts Unlimited products into Shopify, keeps inventory and pricing in sync with Parts Unlimited, and sends orders to Parts Unlimited as dropship orders with tracking written back to Shopify. It is built by Imagine Path Inc, costs $79.99 or $149.99 per month after a 14-day free trial, and is available on the Shopify App Store.

Do I need a Parts Unlimited account?
Yes. PU Connect connects your existing Parts Unlimited dealer account to Shopify — it doesn't resell parts. You'll need your dealer number and an API key, which your Parts Unlimited rep can issue.
I already have products in Shopify. Do I have to re-import them?
No. Open the product in Shopify and use the PU Connect SKU Linker block to tie it to the Parts Unlimited part number. From then on inventory, pricing and orders work exactly like an imported product.
How often does inventory update?
Automatically, throughout the day, following Parts Unlimited's warehouse availability. You can also run a sync from the app whenever you need one.
How do orders get to Parts Unlimited?
From the Shopify order page, request fulfillment for the Parts Unlimited items. PU Connect sends the dropship order, shows you the response, and writes tracking back when it ships — Shopify then notifies your customer.
What if Parts Unlimited rejects an order?
You'll see the reason on the order in Shopify — an out-of-stock part, an address problem, and so on — so you can fix it and resend, or fulfill it another way.
Is PU Connect made by Parts Unlimited?
No. PU Connect is an independent app by Imagine Path Inc in Chico, California. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Parts Unlimited or Shopify.
